Sarah-Jane has been involved with many local amateur
companies for many years taking several leading roles - Nellie in
South Pacific, Sally Bowles in Cabaret and Lucy
Lockett in The Beggars Opera. She joined the DDOS in 2000 to
appear in Oliver! playing Mrs Sowerby, and has since played
Grandma Zeitel in Fiddler on the Roof amongst other roles. She took time out to attend Richmond
Drama School gaining formal training to appear as
Shirley Valentine
in 2005. Sarah-Jane took over the reins of TAP in 2005, stepping into the shoes of Ann Dyson, who is sadly missed by all of DDOS. The Government Inspector was her first production with TAP and was very well received. We look forward to all of her future productions, both on and off stage! |
